When the Trask's of Pennsylvania and the Oakley's of Kentucky welcomed little Shawn and Bobbi, respectively, into this world, they had no idea that nearly 40 years later these two crazy kids would meet at an auto auction, bond over a passion for all things cars, fall in love, and work their fingers to the bone with the goal of opening their own dealership one day. They also didn't know that Bobbi's daughter, who was pretty much raised in the car business, would eventually forgo law school to be a car dealer. Turns out that once know-it-all kid knows a whole lot about buying cars. Enter M'randa. They also couldn't predict that the perfect location for a dealership would come available in beautiful Scottsville, KY, or that it would come fully furnished with 2 cats and a grown man. Turns out that grown man is pretty darn good at selling cars. Meet Shannon. The cats, well, they run the place. We call them Toby and Piper, but they don't listen...or care.

So now Bobbi and Shawn had their dream team in place, including 2 mascots, but they had to decide what to name the dealership. It was pretty easy when they thought about who taught them everything they know about cars...Roy Trask and Wayne Oakley, Shawn and Bobbi's fathers. 

And so Roy Wayne's Auto Group LLC was born!

Roy Wayne's may be new to Scottsville, but this team has over 70 years combined experience in the used car industry! Many of these years have been spent in the wholesale automobile market; meaning selling vehicles to other dealers. So we figured why not just sell these same vehicles to the public for the same wholesale price that the dealers pay?! 

Unfortunately, Roy has moved on to the big car lot in the sky, and Wayne isn't turning many wrenches these days, but Shawn and Bobbi have vowed to honor their fathers by striving to always do what's right.
